About Me

My mother(Margaret  Anderson) moved to Dunonn when I was around 8yrs old.  I lived at 30 Dixon Ave(kirn) and attended  Grammar school.  I really didnt like the change from America to Scotland not to mention the bad  weather. Socially it was hard to adapt because of the racial profiling and discrimination did not help with my stay, so I left and moved back home to California.  I still have family in this town and I love them very much, Sisters: Heather Seeley & Angela Anderson.Wee Grannie, Tashie, Tootie, Big Ali,Mainey, Nettie, Dales, wee Heather, Nat, Coley, Unc Robbie, and the new additions to the family...Love you...Erica Anderson aka Erica Henry.

Sorry you had to deal with the racist crap. That's a big reason why I wouldn't have gone back home to live. Both my kids are Bi-racial and I know how obnoxious some of the children/teenagers can be (even when they are the same colour as you are.) My kids have grown up well adjusted and look like other people. Some of my friends (Julie Black and Isabel Campbell) have bi-racial kids the same age as my daughter, I think they do alright, but don't know what they had to put up with growing up there.
