Andy.Blackwood

My mother and father are archie and jean Blackwood formally of Killearn Villa 133 victoria road dunoon,

i was born there on the 29/03/61

my mother now lives in queen street

i have two older sisters janet who now lives in USA and Jesse who lives locally

i also have a younger brother james or "Jimmi" to people that know him also local

my Dad Archie Blackwood passed away on the 17th, May,2005 he was 94yrs old

I have two children from my former marriage, Corinna Ann, and barry andrew

Corinna moved to Exmouth in Devon, Barry lives mostly in Glasgow

Having spent all my life in Dunoon i still have not seen a more scenic place in UK

I have travelled around the UK many times with my work

i have been with the MOD,

(ministry of defence) EOD

(explosive ordnance deterrent)

EOC (explosive ordinance searcher) for seventeen years

i have been to every corner of UK

Although i have seen some beautiful places they still don't have all that the Dunoon and cowal area can offer

and that includes the wind and the rain.

I met Mags (Margaret Mochar) on the 5th December 2003 and we haven't looked back since

Margaret. Mochar

hello all,
My name is Margaret Mochar (nee McDevitt).
I was born in Edinburgh,but lived in the Falkirk area for thirty four years
before moving to this beautiful place in 2004.
I have four children, my oldest son lives and works in Edinburgh,
My daughter lives and works in Aberdeen,
and my two youngest sons live with me and go Dunoon Grammer School.
I started coming to Dunoon 2001
when my parents bought a caravan at the holiday village,
I loved Dunoon and the surrounding area right away
and jumped at the chance to live here when the opportunity arose!
As Andy says we met on the 5th December 2003 and havent looked back..
we are looking forward to a long and happy life together in Dunoon

if you live here take care of this lovely part of the world...
and if you intend to leave..
then do come back and visit like so many before you
